Word of the Month: Focus

Focus: a center of activity, attraction, or attention
I chose this word because I realized that to reach my goals there's many years in my life which requires much more focus.
Without having focus, I'll end up allowing things to enter in my life that'll hold me back from reaching my dreams or I'll end up too unfocused to stick to my goal oriented routine.
To stick to focus this month, I plan to reflect on the word daily and think about my main focuses for that day. I'll also think about the distractions I may encounter and how I'll choose focus over them.
We look away from the natural realm and we focus our attention and expectation onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God!
Questions to ask yourself:
What do I need to focus on this month?
How will I stay focused on them?
What distractions might I encounter that'll hinder my focus?
How will I overcome these distractions?
